The Black Dog Inn specializes in romantic getaways, elopements & small weddings (14 people & under) we are located approx. 65 miles Northwest of Denver International Airport (about 11/2 hours), in the mountain town of Estes Park. Estes Park is the gateway to The Majestic Rocky Mountain National Park.
The hectic rush of everyday life dissolves away as you take in the splendor of magnificent scenery, wildlife viewing, hiking, horseback riding, fishing in lakes and rivers, kayaking, canoeing, and mountain climbing along with bike riding.
Estes Park always has interesting activities happening each month, such as The Hunter Jumper Horse Show and Roof Top Rodeo in July, the Scottish Irish Highlands Festival in September.
There are many intriguing shops to visit in town as well.
Two golf courses, indoor climbing gyms, miniature golf courses, local wineries with sample tasting, cowboy sing-a- longs, to list just a few of the many fun events.
In winter, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and horseback riding or just staying snuggled up and cozy are favorites of our guests.
After a day of adventure our guests love to relax in their in- room Jacuzzi, watch a movie on their Cable TV with DVD player.
All our suites and cabins have their own separate entrance. Each suite and cabin have a Queen size bed, Jacuzzi, bathroom with shower, sink & toilet, fireplace, microwave, Free WIFI, Small refrigerator, Cable TV with DVD and CD player.
Our Cabin/condos & Prospect Mt. Cabin have fully equipped full size kitchen.
Suites have a delicious gourmet hot 3 course breakfast included.
Cabin/condos are provided with a continental breakfast of muffin, juice and fruit.
Our Mt. Olympus cottage and Prospect Mt. Cabin are dog friendly (2 dogs max per unit) for a fee of $18.00 per dog per night. Must have copy of vaccinations from your vet including Rabies and Bordetella.
Rates: from $170-$250.00 US Dollar, plus tax, per night for 2 people 12 yrs and up
In units that handle more than 2 people, each extra person is $25.00 per person per night.
Reservations: 2 night minimum required, sometimes a 1 night stay is available if a “hole” develops between reservations. Call to check status.
An advanced 50% deposit including the tax, on entire reservation is required to hold the reservation.
Payment type: We accept all credit cards. Bed & Breakfast.com, B&B finder gift certificates and our own gift certificates are accepted.
Please no personal checks.
Cancellation policy: 30 days & over we will refund minus a $50.00 cancellation fee.
If you choose, you may have a voucher for the amount, minus the $50.00 cancellation fee, for you to use in rebooking with us at a later date.
29 days and under you are responsible for the entire reservation. We may refund your money if we rebook the reservation.
